A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Asian School of the Environment (ASE). We seek candidates who will thrive in an interdisciplinary environment and have a genuine interest in working on the topic of urban biodiversity in Asia-Pacific. The research programme on resilient and inclusive cities at the ASE addresses important challenges related to rapid urbanisation and climate change in Asia-Pacific. The programme builds upon an interdisciplinary approach, combining geospatial modelling of urban environments and empirical studies of urban practice. The goal of this research project is to contribute to the modelling toolbox for researchers and practitioners by translating the latest advances in urban biodiversity science into a prototype decision-aid tool. The position provides opportunities for the candidate to explore new research areas and pursue their own interests within the scope of the Resilient and Liveable Cities research program, while expanding their professional network in Singapore and internationally.
