Earthquake Seismology of Myanmar

We have used the broadband EOS-Myanmar network waveform data to refine earthquake location and crustal to lithosphere scale velocity structure especially for the central Myanmar basin. We have built our real time data processing system to report earthquakes. In addition, we have addressed several fundamental scientific questions related to the seismic hazard and earthquake physics: 1) what is the rupture process of intermediate and deep depth earthquakes? 2) What are the detailed slab structure and implication to the geodynamics? 3) Does the rupture area scaling law apply to the very shallow small earthquake?
