Raiders of The Lost Tektites

A large meteorite crashed in Southeast Asia 800,000 years ago, and the impact created a field of debris that extends all the way to the south of Australia. This field is known as the Australasian tektite strewn field. For centuries scientists have tried to find the exact location of the impact, but so far no crater has been found. This movie features the scientific method and the myriad scientific techniques used to locate the likely location of the impact and the likely reason why it had not been found before.
