Profile

Eleanor is a research fellow in the EOS-RS group, currently working on algorithm development for rapidly mapping the damage from natural disasters using synthetic aperture radar (SAR).

She has a DPhil in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford, and bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Cambridge. Her scientific experience in academia and industry has spanned topics that combine geological and InSAR observations of earthquakes and active tectonics, to remote sensing of flood and landslide impact, dam monitoring, and dengue forecasting.
