The Ratu River Expedition Private Screening
About the Event:
Nepal sits on a geologically active region historically known to produce large earthquakes, such as the 1934 and 2015 events.
The Ratu River Expedition is an award-winning film featuring the research of the Earth Observatory of Singapore’s Structural Geology team led by Assistant Professor Judith Hubbard. The documentary follows the team to the section of the fault that passes through the Ratu River, at the foot of the Himalaya.
The Earth Observatory of Singapore, in partnership with the Science Centre Singapore, is pleased to invite you to a private screening of The Ratu River Expedition, followed by a Q&A by Asst. Prof Judith Hubbard and film director, Prof Isaac Kerlow.
