Petrology Laboratories
EOS is fully equipped to conduct petrological investigations on-site. Our rock preparatory laboratories were established in 2011 and moved to their new building in 2017.
The laboratory contains rock-crushing and coring equipment and a thin-section laboratory. This facility is used to prepare thin sections and grain mounts for SEM and other modern microanalytical techniques.

We also have a lab that hosts binocular and petrographic microscopes, capable of imaging capture and stitching, and separate environmentally controlled sample storage facilities.
