Marine Geochemistry Laboratory (MARGE)

Dr. Nathalie Goodkin founded the Marine Geochemistry Laboratory (MARGE) at Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) in 2012. Currently, MARGE is equipped with a MAT253 with Kiel Device, a Delta V with GasBench, Thermo ICP-OES, a Picarro water analyzer L2130-i, and a Picarro water analyzer L2140-i. MARGE primarily provides the analytical support to the Climate research group at EOS and it can also provide analysis for outside collaborators.
Picarro L2140-i analyzer:
• Coupled to a standard vaporizer
• For continuous and simultaneous high-precision analysis of triple oxygen isotopes (18O, 17O and 16O) in water
• Can also coupled to a standard delivery module together with the vaporizer for high-precision and accuracy analysis of δ18O and δD in water vapor
• Robust to be used in remote locations and on boats for fieldwork
