From Paris to Belém: Turning the Global Stocktake into a New Era of Implementation

Co-hosted by the Earth Observatory Singapore at the Nanyang Technological University, the Embassy of Brazil in Singapore, and the Embassy of France in Singapore.

Ten years after the adoption of the Paris Agreement at COP21, the international community stands at a turning point: from ambition to delivery. Following the conclusion of the first Global Stocktake at COP28, COP30 will be the first climate conference of the implementation decade.

This panel will explore how governments, private actors, and civil society can cooperate to turn updated NDCs into concrete results. With Brazil positioning COP30 as a platform to "ensure that what has been agreed becomes reality," this panel will outline how to translate commitments into large-scale, concrete action.
