Profile

Faiz Yeo is a Master’s student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). His research focuses on applying Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models, which is a form of machine learning that learns from historical data to forecast future trends to predict future salinity intrusion and its relationship with excessive sand mining, contributing to a broader understanding of long-term environmental risks.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Convergence with a double major in Sustainable Development and Cooperation from Yonsei University.

His research interests lie in climate change adaptation, water systems, and environmental conservation, with a focus on developing strategies to address the growing challenges posed by human activity and a changing climate.
