Profile

I am interested in the effects of human interactions on physical and ecological systems in the developing world and I enjoy developing field projects to understand the natural and anthropogenic processes that vary over time and space. My current work involves mapping and assessing the environmental impacts of sand mining in Southeast Asia and some of my previous projects include studying heavy metals in road sediments and reviewing the carbon storage in above and below-ground biomass. I am keen to explore new research areas that include learning new research methods to traverse the physical and social sciences to come up with holistic solutions for our society.
