Ahead of the upcoming 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, and to mark ten years since the signing of the Paris Agreement during COP21, the Earth Observatory of Singapore curated “Commemorating COP30: Singapore’s Journey to Net-Zero”, an exhibition which highlights the progress achieved since COP21, as well as the challenges and collective resilience shaping climate action in Singapore. It reminds of the impacts of climate change in the country and features sustainability efforts and hopes from several Institutes of Higher Learning and youth groups, prompting the visitors to imagine the next steps towards a sustainable future.

“Commemorating COP30: Singapore’s Journey to Net-Zero” will be launched alongside the event “From Paris to Belém: From Negotiations to Implementation”, on 22 October 2025 at Lecture Theatre 1 (Von Lee Yong Miang Lecture Theatre), North Spine, NTU.

We thank AlterCOP, BES Drongos, Asst Prof Gabriel Kaprielian of California Polytechnic State University, Earthlink NTU, Inter-University Environmental Coalition, LepakInSG, SG Climate Rally, Singapore Youth Voices for Biodiversity, Singapore Youth for Climate Action, SMU Verts, Students for a Fossil Free Future and the NTU and SUTD Sustainability Offices for their contribution to the exhibition.
